As the Co-Founder of Citus Health, she created the post-acute care industry’s first end-to-end digital health collaboration platform to solve the complexities of managing post-acute continuum of care.
Shahid N. Shah is an internationally recognized and influential healthcare IT thought leader who is known as “The Healthcare IT Guy” across the Internet. He is a technology strategy consultant to many federal agencies and winner of Federal Computer Week’s coveted “Fed 100″ award given to IT experts that have made a big impact in the government. Shahid has architected and built multiple clinical solutions over his almost 21-year career. He helped design and deploy the American Red Cross’s electronic health record solution across thousands of sites; he’s built several web-based EMRs now in use by hundreds of physicians; he’s designed large groupware and collaboration sites in use by thousands; and, as an ex-CTO for a billion dollar division of CardinalHealth he helped design advanced clinical interfaces for medical devices and hospitals. Shahid also serves as a senior technology strategy advisor to NIH’s and TATRC’s SBIR/STTR program helping small businesses commercialize their healthcare applications. An accomplished executive with over 20 years of sales leadership experience, Marcus oversees the company’s sales functions with a focus on driving revenue growth. He has consistently demonstrated success in increasing top-line revenue, rapid organizational growth, and applying strategic thought leadership to improve sales outcomes. He is passionate about developing winning strategies for clients that foster their success which has led to deep, long-lasting relationships with clients across the post-acute space. Prior to joining Citus Health, Marcus held senior sales leadership roles for organizations such as BCC Software, Pitney-Bowes and WellSky.
With 22 years of experience in executive management, solution architecture, delivery leadership and professional services, Venkat provides a pivotal role for Citus Health managing the company’s engineering activities and the successful integration of the Citus Platform with industry leading EHR systems. His passion for cutting edge technologies and strong support of using Open Source software in enterprise applications will continue to help propel the company to drive additional ROI opportunities for our clients.
Prior to joining Citus, Venkat worked at Nokia and Microsoft where he delivered the consumer facing AWS, Azure Cloud hosted PaaS, SaaS services serving millions of users. Venkat’s background spans various industries, including Healthcare, Airlines, Telecommunications, Government and other IOT domains solutioning and delivering workflow automation solutions using BPMN engines along with enforcing strong security posture.
Melissa is an innovative marketing leader with 18+ years of experience leading marketing operations and executing thought leadership, go-to-market, and integrated marketing strategies nationwide, within healthcare and health IT. She has a demonstrated history of transforming vision into execution, resulting in significant revenue growth, customer acquisition and retention, process improvements, and optimization of ROI. Prior to joining Citus Health, Melissa built successful teams for Brightree, MatrixCare, AMN Healthcare and various provider organizations and hospitals both in Georgia and southern California. She is extremely passionate about connected care and how technology can improve patient and family engagement.
With 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Coralina is an accomplished leader overseeing the professional services functions for Citus Health. Her approach to providing quality onboarding practices, improving the customer experience, and increasing adoption are instrumental in the overall success of the team. She is motivated by collaborative technology allowing for more accessible care.
